Your heart beats for everyday FC life, the daily challenges and the many faces on site? Do you also want to develop professionally and take on more responsibility? Great! There are various ways in which you can develop internally. You can always ask your leadership about further training opportunities. Apart from that, there's bound to be a vacancy or two hidden in our job board.
Our Captains are responsible for a team of around 20 Shoppers. In doing so, they ensure that the work is done safely and efficiently. Captains also know how to motivate their team, strengthen team spirit and ensure a good working atmosphere in which every team member feels comfortable. As the first point of contact for Shoppers, Captains always have an open ear for them and know how to help them with any concerns.
They not only coordinate their team, but also keep an overview of the entire department. By working together with the other Captains and the SV, they ensure that the entire FC achieves the daily goals. Overall, they thus always ensure a smooth process in our FCs.
Our SVs are born leaders and know how to motivate and keep their team of 120+ Shoppers per shift together. They make sure that all processes run like clockwork and that the team is always happy and motivated. They are true organisational talents and always keep a cool head. Even when things get busy in the FC, they know how to solve problems in no time at all in order to keep the day running smoothly. They manage this together with their team of Captains, who are each responsible for a team of Shoppers.
Besides working on the floor, our SVs work on all kinds of exciting projects to increase the efficiency of our FCs. As project managers, they are responsible for implementing improvement processes and work not only with colleagues from the warehouse, but also with Software Developers and Analysts, because together they know exactly where there is potential for optimisation.
